Mike Kendall
Mike Kendall is a seasoned trial attorney with decades of experience representing clients in complex civil litigation across Georgia and beyond. He has earned a reputation as a trusted “Go-To” lawyer and has been recognized as both a Super Lawyer and a Lawyer of Distinction.
Mike began his legal career at a prominent regional insurance defense firm before launching his own successful practice in 1999. His career has centered on litigating cases involving serious personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, trucking accidents, negligent security, and a wide spectrum of insurance-related matters. His extensive experience on both sides of the aisle has given him unmatched insight into how insurance companies operate and evaluate claims.
Mike’s litigation experience spans hundreds of insurance coverage disputes, including first-party property claims, arson and fraud, general liability, bad faith claims, and uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. He has served as lead counsel in numerous jury trials, achieving both defense verdicts and multi-million dollar plaintiff verdicts and settlements.
In addition to personal injury and insurance litigation, Mike is highly experienced in construction defect cases, handling complex disputes involving residential and commercial properties. He has successfully represented both homeowners, builders, and insurers in high-value cases involving faulty construction, renovations, product applications, and scope-of-work disagreements.
His litigation expertise extends to contract disputes, employment matters, and constitutional tort claims (including excessive force), First Amendment, and whistleblower cases.
Mike has tried and argued cases at every level of the court system in Georgia—including magistrate, state, superior, and appellate courts—as well as in the U.S. District Courts and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also handled litigation in numerous other states including Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Utah.
